Haunted Tales of Newcastle Christmas Walking Tours

Newcastle is the second oldest settlement established on the mainland of Australia - it was called 'Sydney's Siberia' for a reason. Convicts came here to serve out their time in what was a brutal open air gaol with nowhere to escape to.

This tour takes you around those first establishing streets of our city. 

Behind the modern facades lies the dark history of those for decades filled with misery and hopelessness. No wonder there are so many ghost stories about the East end of town.

Join Renata Daniel, owner of Newcastle Ghost Tours, in a walk that introduces you to the convict era and ghost stories of the 'top end of town'. 

Tours will go ahead with a minimum of two bookings. 

Tours are available between Friday 27th and Monday 30th December.

Start time 8pm to 10pm. ( please be on time)
