Hauswife + Bouki (SYD) at Glamorama Saturdays
Event description
We celebrate Hauswife’s “Playboy” single release alongside interstate bass head Bouki at Glamorama Saturdays.
Our very own resident, Hauswife, is having a moment and we couldn’t be prouder. Coming off the back of opening for John Summit’s recent Aus tour and her own tour through Thailand’s underground including sets at Clutch BKK & Bangkok Community Radio, Hauswife is keeping the momentum going with her latest single, Playboy. The single is raunchy, cheeky, and important in its stance against gender bias in the music industry. Infused with an electronic pop sound, Playboy is a pivot for Hauswife and signals a change in direction & identity for the established performer.
Alongside Hauswife we have Eora/Sydney stalwart Bouki for his debut at Glamorama. Known as one of the minds behind bass festival “Dayshift” and touring agency “Out Here Agency”, Bouki has carved out a space for himself slinging some of the finest UKG & bass tunes around. With consistent slots & takeovers at Chinese Laundry + several features at Lost Sundays, Bouki is well on his way to defining the nation’s bass scene.
Lastly, we have the 2422 crew in for a showcase in the courtyard from label heads Red & Richie alongside local up and comer Georgie Turner.
Prepare for a wild double-header as Hauswife & Bouki bring their best to Glamorama Saturdays with main room support from Nick Salerno and Biriyani Brothers.
