Hawaiian Hula Dance for Seniors Course March-April 2025
Event description
Free 6 week course: Hawaiian Hula Dance
Mondays: March 10, 17, 24, 31 | April 7, 14 | 10:30 – 12:00
Byron Seniors Club members are invited to a Free 6 week course of Hawaiian Hula Dance.
Hula, often called the dance of aloha, is renowned for its ability to warm the heart and spark spontaneous smiles. Beyond its charm, hula offers numerous benefits, combining gentle exercise with joyful self-expression – a perfect fit for mature dancers.
Lilith from the talented Byron Bay Hula / Mana Aloha Troupe (meaning "Powerful Love") will lead the classes. Known for bringing the spirit of the islands to local celebrations, fundraisers, festivals, and aged-care events, this troupe’s hip-swaying, heartwarming dances celebrate nature’s beauty while spreading joy and gratitude with smiles, flowers, and graceful hula hands.
This is a closed course, meaning participants enroll for the full 6 weeks rather than attending casually. There are plenty of spots available, but drop-in attendance is not offered to ensure everyone progresses together. Tickets cover the full 6-week program, and we encourage you to attend all sessions to get the most out of the experience!
Come along and experience the magic of hula – we can’t wait to see you there!
