Hawkesbury Business Awards is a red-carpet event for the whole community. Aimed at highlighting the inspirational and high achieving members of our various sectors. 

Attendees will be treated to:

  • Red carpet,
  • professional photographer, 
  • champaign on arrival,
  • a 3-course meal of local seasonal produce,
  • premium beverage package,
  • local celebrity MC,
  • entertainment by local musicians and
  • dance floor to finish off the night.

    • General retail
    • Business services
    • Health and disability
    • Fitness and sport
    • Accommodation
    • Catering, cafes and restaurants
    • Tourism and events
    • Entertainment and the arts
    • Education, training and childhood centres
    • Electronics, IT and media
    • Government and not for profit
    • Business person of the year
    • Business of the year
    • Young business person of the year (under 26yoa)
    • Community outreach project or contribution of the year

Nominations closed on 13 May 2024, with all members of the community able to nominate a business or individual. The 8 most nominated organisations or individuals in each category are finalists. 

Judging will take in to consideration the following for each organisation or individual based on anonymous customer service trials, publicly available information and information provided by the business:

  • Commitment to the community,
  • Networking and working with others,
  • Visible marketing including use of social media, website and other forms as appropriate,
  • Customer service in person, via email or on the phone including communication skills, product knowledge, presentation of staff and premises,
  • Legal compliance and management strategies for risk management including WHS, environmental impacts and human resources, and
  • Successes and future business plans.
