Hawkesbury Business Awards is a red-carpet event for the whole community. Aimed at highlighting the inspirational and high achieving members of our various sectors.
Attendees will be treated to:
Red carpet,
professional photographer (all photos will be available free of charge),
champaign on arrival,
a 3-course meal of local seasonal produce,
premium beverage package,
local MC,
entertainment by local musicians and
dance floor to finish off the night.
The dress code for the night is formal and suitable for the red carpet.
In recognition of the number of young entrepreneurs (our youngest nominee was 12yoa) and family businesses locally, this event will have people under 18 in attendance. We ask that all attendees remain respectful throughout the event.

Nominations closed on 18 May 2025, with all members of the community able to nominate a business or individual. The 8 most nominated organisations in each category are finalists.
The 8 most nominated organisations or individuals in each category will be finalists, with the organisers reserving the right to change the category of nomination if there is a more appropriate category. Nominations for a single organisation will only be accepted for one category except for project, person and business of the year categories.
Judging will take into consideration the following for each organisation or individual based on anonymous customer service trials, publicly available information and information provided by the business:
Commitment to the community (charity work, fundraising and similar acts of community support),
Networking and working with others (being a member of networking groups, industry groups plus attendance at networking opportunities),
Visible marketing including use of social media, website and other forms as appropriate (regular social media posting and quality of marketing materials or activities),
Customer service in person, via email or on the phone including communication skills, product knowledge, presentation of staff and premises,
Legal compliance (holding an ABN, trading name registration, relevant licensing and licensing compliance), and
Successes (industry recognition and business goal achievements) and future business plans.
