    Event description

    Notice is hereby given to all Members of the HCAA that our Sydney November General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 12 November 2024, commencing 6.30pm at Club York, Sydney.

    6:30pm sharp: General Meeting opens

    6.35pm: Presidents welcome and report

    6.50pm: General Meeting closes

    7pm: Innovation segment - Steph McGuire, Gentec

    7.10pm: Innovation segment - Clive Berrell, Amber Smart Systems

    7.20pm-7.25pm: Dean Crowe, Sydney Water

    Dean will be joining us with a regular spot at our Sydney General Meetings to give us a Sydney Water update and answer any questions. 

    7.30pm-7.50pm

    Presenter: Mal Irvine, Zip Water

    Topic: Mal will be joining us to give an update and bring us up to speed on Zip Water's Midlife Command Centre upgrade. 


    8pm-8.20pm

    Presenter:  Daniela Cianci, Senior Compliance Officer, Building Commission NSW

    Topic: Daniela is joining us to present on DBP Audits, sharing information on how the DBP Audits team will conduct an audit, what they're looking for as part of their Audits, the types of audits they do under DBP and some examples of issues they are finding relevant to hydraulic regulated designs.

    8.30pm Meeting closes and time to socialise.  

    Additional information:

    Food and drinks will be provided please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

    Bookings will close on Wednesday 06 November or earlier if venue reaches capacity. 

    You need to attend on the night to get your CPD points not just register. 

    You will need proof of ID to enter Club York. 


    This event is for HCAA members only. Any guests wishing to attend can purchase tickets at a non-member cost and must be approved by the Committee, please enquire via email.

    Transport and parking: 

    You will also find a Wilson Car Park at 71 York Street or 111 York Street. If you're on public transport, Town Hall or Wynyard train station are a short walk away.
