    Notice is hereby given to all Members of the HCAA that our Canberra September General Meeting will be held on Thursday 17 October 2024, commencing 6pm at the Canberra Rex Hotel.


    5.30pm: General meeting opens for socialising

    6pm: General meeting starts - Welcome and Committee Report

    6.20pm: General Meeting closes.


    6.30pm-6.50pm

    Topic: Converge PVC Stack Aerator

    Presenter: Chris Portelli, Vinidex

    The Converge PVC Stack Aerator is fast becoming the RVASS system of choice as the Converge allows easier installation for plumbing contractors vs traditional HDPE RVASS systems, is fully watermarked & 100% Australian made by Vinidex. Applications include commercial buildings, residential, hotel or almost any high rise sanitary drainage application. Chris will be joining us to explain further.

    7.10-7.30pm

    Topic: Rainhead Solutions

    Presenter: Russell Kirkwood and Rowan Gregory, Dam Buster

    Russell Kirkwood, forensic plumber co-founder of Dam Buster and Rowan Gregory, Civil Engineer and Technical Manager of Dam Buster, will provide a presentation on roof drainage for low pitched metal roofs, highlighting problems plaguing the industry and discussing solutions. 

    8pm Meeting closes and time to socialise.

    Food and drinks will be provided please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

    Bookings will close on Thursday 10 October or earlier if venue reaches capacity. 

    You need to attend on the night to get your CPD points not just register. 


    This event is for HCAA members only. Any guests wishing to attend can purchase tickets at a non-member cost and must be approved by the Committee, please enquire via email.
