HCAA September 2024 Sydney General Meeting

Notice is hereby given to all Members of the HCAA that our Sydney September General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 10 September 2024, commencing 6.30pm at Club York, Sydney.

6:30pm sharp: General Meeting opens

6.35pm: Presidents welcome and report

6.50pm: General Meeting closes

7pm: Innovation segment - Mike Ahmed, Victaulic

7.15pm-7.35pm

Presenter: Ben James, Neuron 

Neuron is a rapid engineering design tool for building services, structural engineering and Net Zero consulting. Neuron is at the forefront of technology and using their experience in this space, will be presenting on how to identify the opportunities for Artificial Intelligence, the constraints and how the industry can benefit from short and medium term technology strategies.

Presenter: Peter McLennan, Backflow Prevention Association of Australia 

Peter will be sharing some insights into cross-connection control requirements of the PCA (NCC 2022 Volume Three), including when to use the hazard matrix, the DtS clauses and Specification 41.

8.15pm Meeting closes and time to socialise.

Bookings will close on Wednesday 04 September or earlier if venue reaches capacity. 

You need to attend on the night to get your CPD points not just register. 

This event is for HCAA members only. Any guests wishing to attend can purchase tickets at a non-member cost and must be approved by the Committee, please enquire via email.
