HCCA Mentor Training
Description
Have you got some experience in healthcare advocacy? You might be an experienced consumer representative, board member, or a member of an advisory committee.
If you have an interest in using your knowledge and experience to mentor others, join us for training in how to be an effective mentor.
In collaboration with the Mental Health Consumer Network, HCCA will be offering free mentor training in November. The training will take place over two half-days. During this time, participants will learn the key ideas behind good mentoring. Although the main focus is on mentoring new consumer representatives, the skills and knowledge you’ll gain can be useful in many different mentoring contexts.
Located at Chifley Health and Wellbeing Hub, attendance is required for both sessions. A light lunch will be provided.
(Part-1) Monday, 23rd November, 10:00am – 1:30pm
(Part-2) Monday, 30th November, 10:00am – 1:30pm
Please register by Sunday 15th November.
