Bushfire Recovery Fencing on High Country Rail Trail working bees
Description
Join with Tallangatta Rail Trail Advisory Group for bushfire recovery working bees this winter. We will be working at various locations along 37km of bushfire impacted High Country Rail Trail. Activities will be primarily fencing and replacing burnt park infrastructure.
Supplied: tools and any specific safety equipment needed.
Bring: BYO drinking water, snacks and lunch. For your safety, please wear covered shoes (preferably boots), long pants, long sleeves, and a hat.
When: Weekly working bees will be held on Wednesdays, from 9am to 2pm. Note that a carpool will depart from Wodonga at 8am and return by 3pm.
Meeting places
Option A: 8am WODONGA: Carpool from the corner of Huon Street and Church Street, Wodonga. Please arrive on time as we will leave at 8am sharp.
Option B: 9am BULLIOH / KOETONG: Please call or text to arrange a meeting place if you are travelling from elsewhere.
