HDR Information Session - Monitoring of Research Data Management Plans (RDMPs)
Time to take action - what you need to know about RDMP monitoring and the new compliance fields
Please join us for the next webinar in our research data management series. This session is designed to address the needs and concerns of HDR candidates (HDR supervisors also welcome to attend). A separate session for staff researchers is scheduled for Wednesday 13th August.
Two emails were recently circulated to UOW researchers requesting they take the following actions:
To ensure an RDMP exists in ReDBox for all research data - including historical data and student data - with monitoring to begin from October 2025
To retrospectively complete a new section in existing RDMPs known as "Compliance". This section of the RDMP captures the data classification (in accordance with the UOW Data Classification and Handling Procedure) and an indication of whether the research is considered a critical infrastructure asset under the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 (SOCI).

This session will be held online from 12noon - 12:45pm. The first 15-20mins will be dedicated to the presentation with the remainder of the session available for Q&A and discussion. The presentation section will be recorded and made available via the Research Data Storage and Management (TRNG032_19) Moodle Site.
