Event description

As graduate research programs grow, the diversity of HDR populations positively increases. However, the ability to adapt supervision to accommodate diverse learners has not always been agile, and more focus needs to be placed on adapting positive supervision practices for neurodivergent HDR students.

Join us on Friday 23rd May for a webinar focusing on adapting and developing good practice supervision techniques for working with neurodivergent HDR students. The webinar will be facilitated by Professor Charlotte Brownlow, Dean of the Graduate Research School, University of Southern Queensland and Professor Inger Mewburn, Director of Researcher Development, ANU and will draw on a recent systematic literature review exploring the experiences of neurodivergent HDR students, co-authored by a neurodiverse research team.
