Event description
Eating together and chatting over food are widely recognised ways of developing sound social relationship. We don't even have to share the food, just to sit together and open our ears and our minds to others. Here at UTS, once a month you can bring some food with you as you sit down to meet other HDRs online. You can meet students in other faculties or catch up with those you have met before. Each hour-long meeting has time to chat informally with others in break-out rooms about any topic, and it also provides the opportunity to talk about a theme or topic introduced by a fellow HDR. The topics will be general and accessible to all and give the opportunity to engage in everyday conversations with some of the finest minds in the city.

Social interactions are an essential part of everyday life.
Sometimes as HDR students, we don't have easy ways of meeting other
HDRs. Too busy to spend an hour to meet other HDRs? What if you look at
it in a different way? One hour once a month is just two minutes a day.
And if you come along to two socials a month, that is four minutes a
day. Too easy!
A reminder that all UTS Students are bound by the Code of Conduct. This applies on campus and for digital experience events.
See you there!
