Head & Heart Workshop - Thursday, 16 November 2023 - with guest speaker Dhanesh Singh

An insightful and thought-provoking workshop designed for individuals wanting to take the first step to learn more about the for-purpose arena and carve out a unique path to working ‘on purpose’. Especially relevant in today's world where many people are looking to support a charity (or two) through volunteering.

For those looking for a career pivot or seeking further engagement from their work, this workshop is designed to help participants work through a Personal Impact Framework providing an actionable pathway to engage in and contribute to the for-purpose economy.

Our guest speaker for Thursday 16 November will be Dhanesh Singh.  Dhanesh is an experienced board member, qualified coach, finance, governance and risk specialist.  With over 30 years experience in Audit, Risk, Governance, Finance and Strategy across both financial institutions and the financial services regulator APRA, Dhanesh supports purpose driven organisations strengthen their impact.

Given her broad risk and compliance skills and lived experience in Australia and Africa and having lived through various economic cycles, Dhanesh draws on past experiences and predicts emerging issues to help organisations and for purpose boards navigate and problem solve for sustainability and growth, with a purpose, risk and growth mindset.

Dhanesh has previously worked with Barclays, Commonwealth Bank, Westpac and Macquarie Bank and currently sits on the Boards of Hello Sunday Morning, McCall Gardens and Kids with Cancer Foundation.

In this workshop, you will also hear insights collected over the past decade by the People for Purpose team on the challenges and opportunities that face the sector.
