The Pennefather Club is the parent support group for the Caulfield Grammar School Rowing Club.
The Pennefather Club was named after Harold Pennefather who was the first rowing coach at Caulfield back in 1957, and who was the driving force behind the introduction of APS rowing at the school.
The Pennefather Club aims to support our rowers at both Caulfield and Wheelers Hill campuses through creating a strong connection amongst rowing families via social events and communication. The Club also provides catering support at key regattas and on camps.
The Pennefather Club falls under the Caulfield Grammar Supporters Association umbrella and the President sits in the CGSA.
“Winning Medals Is Good, Racing Is Better, Loving The Sport Is Best!”
With over 200 rowers, parent involvement at Caulfield Grammar School is essential to ensure rowers are supported. The Pennefather Club’s commitment is to engage the parent community so that all rowers are provided the opportunity of an exceptional experience.
The Club loves to hear from parents keen to become involved. There are many roles that need to be filled throughout the season.
