This event brings an amazing opportunity to relax, meet like-minded people, and listen to Festival exhibitors talk about their work. Amidst the excitement of our festival launch, it is a much-needed evening of fun and easy conversation. You'll get the chance to speak with a diverse and exciting mix of people.

The Head On Photo Festival, presented by the Head On Foundation (a not-for-profit established in 2008), has become synonymous with exceptional photography. Beginning in 2010, the Sydney-based Festival has developed into a world-leading cultural event known for showcasing thousands of diverse photographers on the world stage.

Each year, Creative Director Moshe Rosenzveig OAM leads a rigorous, fully anonymous selection process. Judges see images without names attached, so the work speaks for itself. The result: a potent mix of voices and stories, with genuine equal opportunity for artists at every stage of their careers.

This year, exhibitions and conversations explore important global and social issues, including global conflicts, pop culture, the environment, and urbanisation. Moshe Rosenzveig OAM, Founder and Creative Director of Head On Foundation, shares, "The event is family-friendly and enjoyed by Sydneysiders, interstate and international visitors of all ages. The exhibitions' appeal merges the boundaries between everyday people, photographic enthusiasts, and artists. It's the perfect way to enjoy art either indoors or outdoors in a relaxed and accessible environment.”
