headspace Griffith CreateSpace Collective x NSW Art Competition

For Children’s Week 2025, the Advocate for Children and Young People (ACYP) is inviting entries for the NSW Children’s Week Art Competition.

To celebrate, headspace Griffith is hosting a special CreateSpace Collective for young people aged 12–18 years. Come along, get creative, and work on your own portrait entry! Artwork created can be submitted to the official ACYP competition and will also be displayed at our centre during our headspace Day event on 9 October 2025.

Young people are invited to create a portrait of somebody (or a group of people) who champions children’s rights this could be someone you know, or someone you admire. Your artwork can be a drawing, painting, collage, photograph, sculpture, textile work, or digital illustration (AI artwork is not allowed).

🖊️ In 50–150 words, explain what your artwork represents, including who you chose to portray and why. There is a field in the entry form for this description.

The competition is free to enter and open to all children and young people up to 18 years old in NSW. Group entries are welcome!
