Entry instructions
Head to the main entrance on Prospect Road. You’ll see the front porch and access ramp leading directly to the foyer doors. The access ramp is available for anyone who requires step-free entry. All event spaces, including Eliza Hall and bathrooms, are on the same level.
After entry instructions
Once you’ve entered through the main doors/foyer, head straight ahead into Eliza Hall. A check-in desk will be positioned near the entrance of the hall. Please stop here first to check in. After check-in, staff will direct you to your team table inside the hall. The stage is located at the far end of the hall where the quiz host and live performance will take place.
Hazards
Front steps: There are steps leading up to the porch at the main entrance. However, there is also a dedicated access ramp to the right-hand side of the porch, which provides step-free entry. Heavy entry doors: The foyer doors may be heavy for some attendees; staff/volunteers will be available to assist if needed. Crowding in foyer: The foyer is not large, so it may become crowded at peak arrival times (around 6:45–7:00pm). People using mobility aids may need extra space and support navigating this area. Toilet access: Accessible toilet facilities are available, but are located along the same corridor as the male/female toilets near the stage, so this area could become busy during breaks. Lighting/noise: The event will include live music and amplified sound in Eliza Hall, which could be overwhelming for people with sensory sensitivities. Quiet space may be limited, though the Irish Harp Room off the foyer could be offered as a low-stimulation space if needed.
Toilet location
From the hall, head toward the left-hand side of the stage. A corridor leads directly to: female, male and accessible toilets with a shower. Clear signage will be in place, and staff/volunteers can point you in the right direction.
Accessible parking
Accessible (disability) parking bays are available at Prospect Town Hall, 128 Prospect Road. These are located close to the main entrance, providing easy access to the porch and ramp entry. If bays are full, additional street parking is available along Prospect Road and surrounding side streets. Please allow extra time for parking and entry.
