Event description

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience: Healing and Song at THE LUME with Dr Sarah Jane Perri & Ngulmiya Nundhirribala

This isn’t just a wellness event. It’s something deeper.

For one night only, Dr Sarah Jane Perri, creator of Spinal Energetics, joins forces with Ngulmiya Nundhirribala (2025 Northern Territory Australian of the Year and Yolŋu Songman from Arnhem Land), for a powerful, visceral experience inside the walls of The LUME, before the venue closes its doors for good.

Together, they offer an evening that speaks to what’s stored in the body, in memory, and in culture. This is not about relaxing. It’s about remembering, feeling, and releasing what has long gone unspoken or unfelt.

This is for those ready to feel more - not less.

The evening begins with a live Spinal Energetics demonstration by Dr Sarah Jane, offering a glimpse into what’s possible. From there, we move into the full session, guided by Dr Sarah Jane and her team, at this point you are invited to lay down for the duration. Spinal Energetics works through the spine, nervous system, and energetic field to stir what’s been held beneath the surface. Expect movement. Expect sensation. Expect emotion. This isn’t a quiet letting go, it’s a full-bodied release.

As the session builds, so will the sounds of Ngulmiya.

His voice cuts through the room - ceremonial, alive, and anchored in generations of knowledge. This is not performance. It’s a cultural act. A sacred offering. His sound doesn’t sit on the surface, it moves through you.

Together, their work creates a space where something shifts. Maybe suddenly. Maybe slowly. But unmistakably.

About Dr Sarah Jane Perri
Founder of Spinal Energetics, Sarah Jane blends Eastern philosophy, movement, and energy with years of clinical experience. Her work is physical, emotional, and electric. She has guided thousands of people through moments where words fall short—and the body speaks instead.

About Ngulmiya Nundhirribala
Ngulmiya is a ceremonial leader and master Songman from Arnhem Land. His voice carries legacy. Each note is grounded in culture and connection to Country. Globally recognised for his debut album Ngulmiya, his presence offers something far beyond music. It’s story, sound, and spirit - woven together.

As The LUME prepares for its final days, this is a rare invitation to witness something powerful and honest - before the space, and the moment, is gone.

This is not soft.
It’s not quiet.
It’s something real.

What is Spinal Energetics?
Spinal Energetics is a modality created by Dr Sarah Jane Perri. It works with the spine, nervous system, and energetic field to stir what’s held in the body and move it. Using light (and often no) touch, the body responds with natural movement and sound. It’s not choreographed. It’s not controlled. It’s a response to something deeper - and often, long overdue.
