Healing Country with Fire
Event description
Meet three generations of Peramangk people and learn how they use fire to heal country and people. Listen to stories and reconnect with your inner senses to feel connection to the land.
Why is fire so important for water, land, people and animals? How can fire help landholders manage their land and increase productivity?
Listen to the presentation, share a BBQ lunch (provided by the Friends of Barossa Bushgardens) with us and go for a walk to learn about plants and landscapes.
Please let us know if you can't make it on the day to give others an opportunity to join in and for catering purposes.
This information session is funded by the Northern and Yorke Landscape Board.
