Inner Healing Day
Event description
Inner Healing – The Journey of Life
Dealing with what life throws at us is ultimately an inner journey. Sometimes it takes a biggie before we recognize the potential of our inner strength; the power of our own mind.
Nothing is random. Loss and adversity, chronic or life-threatening illness, trauma and pain; all of life’s challenges show up according to causes we have ourselves set in motion.

Like the Zen saying - “The obstacle is not in the path. The obstacle is the path”. Through this lens, life’s difficulties are not seen as some kind of hindrance, injustice or retribution but as opportunities to deepen in awareness and compassion.
In our time together we will explore, in meditation, talks and discussion:
*Grief and loss – the miracle of letting go
*The healing power of love and compassion
*Resolving resentment and hurt – the ‘ouch’ in forgiveness
*Addressing regrets/shame; purification practices
*Impermanence and death; facing fears around the fragility of life
Atisha Centre is a Buddhist Centre but you don’t need to be Buddhist in order to benefit from the Healing Group day. Our approach is simply to introduce you to a variety of avenues - both ancient and contemporary - promoting health and well-being.
