PRISONER HEALTH CAMP
Vellore, South India, is home to the Vellore Central Prison, established in 1830 during British rule. It houses both common criminals and political prisoners and is one of the largest prisons in the state. The prison system focuses on inmate rehabilitation, vocational training, and educational programs to aid reintegration. This health check-up camp aims to provide comprehensive medical screening and care for inmates, focussing on early detection and management of chronic illnesses, dermatological conditions, and cardiovascular risks. Two camps will be held, one in the female jail and one in the male jail. The budget is 6000 AUD.
