Health Hub Meeting 4th Mar 2021
Event description
The Health Hub
Together, we can make a difference!
Invitation-Only Event
Invitation-Only Event
Do you know who Jonas Salk is?
Born in 1914 in New York, Jonas was a virologist who is credited with developing one of the first successful Polio vaccines. It was first used in 1955 and many thought that his vision to eradicate Polio globally was a “wild dream with no basis in reality”.
As at 2020, only Pakistan and Afghanistan have reported new cases. The virus has essentially been eradicated from all other countries and will soon disappear from our planet.
“There is hope in dreams, imagination, and in the courage of those who wish to make those dreams a reality.” Jonas Salk, American Virologist.
What do you believe/dream is possible?
We’re living in a world which is very different compared to 2010, let alone the 1900s.
Unprecedented change, and unprecedented opportunity compared to any other time in history.
Do you believe that we are doomed to a future of complexity and unfathomable challenges – ending with disastrous consequences in the Health Arena and also the environment?
Or, like Jonas Salk, do you believe that together we are better and that together we can influence, and even shape a better destiny for ourselves and for all of humanity and the planet?
Why this invitation-only event?
We’re hosting this event and building this close-knit group of peers because we believe that together we are better.
At Symphony 7, we have a clear vision to facilitate a global tribe of businesses who pursue profit-for-good and who collectively facilitate positive impact for the lives of 1Bn+ people in the world.
We’ve begun a journey of bringing together the Health Hub of respected professionals, all of whom have Health and Allied Health Clients, all of whom believe that together we’re better, and all of whom want to:
- Share learnings.
- Share insights.
- Share challenges and
- Refer connections and new relationships for the benefit of the group.
We (or somebody whom we trust) believe that you might be interested and that you might be able to receive value and to contribute value to the group.
What’s the structure / Agenda?
The meeting will be facilitated by Barry Westhorpe. Barry is the former CEO of the CEO Institute and has held a number of senior exec roles within the health sector. He currently serves on a number of advisory boards in the health sector, including Alfred Health and he also chairs a group of CEOs in the Dandenong area.
This meeting of people and of minds is leading towards the formation of a Health Hub, whose members will meet once each month to:
- Solve problems together.
- Create thought leadership and
- Refer relevant relationships for the benefit of other members of the Hub.
Who is attending?
A range of leaders, thinkers, business-owners and action-takers will attend.
The common theme is that they all:
- Have clients in the Health and Allied Health space.
- Believe that profit can be used as a force-for-good.
- Want to make a difference and
- Are opposed to having a small group of people achieve excessive wealth at the expense of everyone else on the planet.
Is this a Once-Off Event?
No.
We’re steadily building a Professional Hub of providers to the Health and Allied Health Industries.
The clear vision is to build long-term relationships between people who will benefit from collaboration to solve problems, establish though leadership and connect with new options and opportunities.
What’s the investment for this particular event?
$37 per person.
This includes a $10 contribution to the uplift of Health in Australia.
Uplift of Health in Australia:
AIDH (The Australian Institute of Digital Health – led by Dr Louise Schaper) is in the business of reducing the number of preventable deaths in Australia. They already have relationships with hundreds of decision makers in hospitals and allied health institutions who are benefiting from their insights, training, workshops and conferences.
The Symphony 7 community would like to support AIDH with the connection to a respected Marketing and PR team who have offered to provide marketing support to AIDH to reach even more health and allied health organisations with their valuable IP and training. The PR and Marketing firm have offered to discount their services to the extent that a program of work can be executed for an amount of money which we believe we can raise via only 2 x Health Hub meetings.
Just by attending the session, you’d be contributing to the reduction of preventable deaths in Australia.
