In recognition of the consumers and communities strengthening health and medical research in South Australia, Health Translation SA is pleased to host the Consumers in Research Thank You Event.

Consumer and Community Involvement in Research is key to ensuring health and medical research aligns with community needs and priorities.

If you have been involved in health and medical research as a health consumer, as a person with lived experience of a health issue or using health services, or as a carer, we want to thank you and invite you to join us for an evening of celebration. We also warmly invite researchers who work in partnership with consumers to join us as we celebrate the contribution of Consumer and Community Involvement in Research.

We support Consumer and Community Involvement in Research and the positive impacts it can have on shaping research that is more relevant and that centres the people it aims to benefit.

That’s why we’re inviting you to bring a plus-one: someone you know who is curious about getting involved in health and medical research but would like to learn more about what involvement can look like. By bringing someone new into the conversation, you can help us welcome more voices, experiences and perspectives into research.
