We’re pleased to announce the HealthTech Activator (HTA) will be hosting a Healthtech Regulatory Intelligence online tutorial  with Tara Creaven-Capasso of Caduceus Medical Development on Thursday 4 November

The resources and approaches in this tutorial will be relevant to companies at all stages of growth and in all areas of healthtech, including therapeutics, diagnostics and devices.

This tutorial will help with: 

  • Understanding the importance of regulatory intelligence and communicating its impact to your organisation;
  • Navigating and finding information relevant to your technology, classification, and regulatory environment; 
  • Assessing, managing and reporting on the potential impact of regulatory changes on your technology, across guidance documents, regulations, standards, and other requirements.  

This tutorial will make it easier for you to keep up with regulatory changes, helping you keep your organisation compliant with regulations and standards that specifically apply to your technology. 

Event details:

  • Online via Zoom
  • Thursday 4 November, 11am-12:15pm
  • Cost: $25 + GST & booking fee per person
  • The event will close with a 15 min Q&A session, with questions submitted via Zoom to the moderator
  • The event will be recorded, but the recording will not include the Q&A  
  • All who attend the event will also receive a copy of the slides.

About the facilitator:

Tara Creaven-Capasso, RAC, FRAPS, SQA-GLP

Founding Partner and Director, Caduceus Medical Development

With over 28 years’ international experience, Tara specialises in the provision of regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and compliance services to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, and medicinal cannabis sectors. Tara co-founded Caduceus Medical Development, Ltd. (NZ) in 2014 (an independent international consulting firm with offices also in the US), and is a member of Life Science New Zealand, a group of consultants dedicated to helping companies navigate commercialisation. In April 2020, Tara co-founded Covid-19 Corporation Ltd., a late-stage R&D COVID-19 vaccine company where she is responsible for quality and regulatory functions. Tara recently received an elected fellowship to the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) for her contribution to education, R&D, and commercialisation in global regulatory sciences.
