Healthy Landscapes Evening

Join Macintyre Ag Alliance for an evening of connection, conversation and practical insights into building healthier farms and landscapes.

The evening begins at 5:00 pm with the Macintyre Ag Alliance Annual General Meeting, followed by the Healthy Landscapes Evening at 6:00 pm at the Queensland Hotel, Goondiwindi. Food and drinks will be provided.

The evening will explore ways to improve farm health, strengthen riparian areas and better understand soil health through local knowledge and expert insights.

Riparian Health Panel Discussion
Hear from Claire Steains of Southern Queensland Landscapes, Justin Saunders of BIGAMBUL, and Kel Durrant from the Murray–Darling Basin Authority as they discuss riparian health and healthy landscapes.

Whole of Farm Approach
Roma-based consultant David Thompson will share insights into working with landholders to develop synergistic strategies that improve overall farm health and support more resilient farming systems.

Soil Testing and Local Results
Brenton Wenham from Carbonlink will discuss soil testing and share results from local testing, providing valuable insights into soil health and opportunities for improved farm management.

Whether you're interested in riparian management, soil health or practical ways to improve your property, this is an opportunity to connect with fellow farmers, hear from industry experts and explore ideas for healthier farms and landscapes across the Goondiwindi region.
