Dear @FirstName

Thank you for booking onto our Halloween Trail at Reedswood Park on Thursday 29th October from 5:30-7:00pm.

Here are a few details to help you prepare for the event:

Location & Arrival

The Halloween Trail will take place around Reedswood Park. Please visit Talbot House Sons of Rest building on arrival (Bentley Lane opposite the Alma Inn), where staff will direct you to the starting point. There is no parking on site, however on road parking can be found in nearby streets (Lane Avenue & Bentley Lane). If you are driving to the event, please do park considerately for residents who live close by to the site. Please speak to a member of the healthy spaces staff team on arrival.

What to Expect

Get ready for some Halloween fun as you make your way around the park and complete our spooky trail! Guests will receive a special Halloween activity card to guide them through the trail. Their mission? To spot and identify a series of spooky characters upon signage lurking in the woodland area. Upon completion of the trail and activity card, children will then receive a certificate from a healthy spaces member of Staff. Each child will also receive a pumpkin which they can carve at the event. Carving kits will be provided. In addition to pumpkin carving, there will be other Halloween inspired craft activities to enjoy.

Children are encouraged to come along in their Halloween costumes, but this is completely optional.

Session Format

This is a self-led family activity, with members of the Healthy Spaces team available throughout the event to provide support. We kindly ask that parents/carers remain with their children for the duration of the trail. The event is advertised for 90 minutes in duration but as this is self-led you are free to come along at any time within this timeslot. However, we do advise that arriving earlier will allow you to make the most of the activities.

Please Remember

As the event takes place during the evening and outdoors, please dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear. We also recommend that you bring a torch as the trail may not be well lit in areas.

We're looking forward to a fun and spooky evening with you and your family!

If you have any further questions or need to cancel your place, please contact healthyspaces@walsall.gov.uk
