As the Women’s Health Mobile Clinic visits local towns, Gippsland Women’s Health is hosting free sessions nearby to help you understand your health, know your options, and feel confident navigating your care.

This 90-minute session includes a presentation, time for questions/discussion and a light snack.

Topics covered:

• The connection between mental and physical health: All about the mental load and simple ways to integrate self-care into our daily lives.

• BreastScreen Victoria Bus & Women's Health Mobile Clinic: Find out how to access the amazing services coming to Mallacoota and what's involved in the appointments.

• Heart health: How heart disease affects women differently, ways to reduce risk, and the signs to look for.

• Health checks: Learn about common health risks across different stages of life and the checks that can help reduce them. We’ll also introduce the Her Health app as a tool for keeping on top of your screenings.

• Navigating pain and owning your health: Understanding and managing chronic pain, and how to advocate for yourself in the health system.

Duration: 90 minutes, including time for Q&A and discussion.

Who can attend: All women and people with a cervix welcome.
