Entry instructions
The main entrance to Randwick Town Hall is via the double doors on Frances Street. From this entrance, visitors will need to navigate 8 steps with handrails to access the hall. For visitors requiring step-free access, a wheelchair-accessible entrance is available via the car park on Avoca Street, this entrance is less than 100m from the Frances street entrance. Signage will direct attendees from the accessible parking area to the accessible entry. If you would like a Council staff member to contact you prior to the event to discuss any access requirements, please select the relevant checkbox during ticket registration.
After entry instructions
Once inside the venue, please proceed directly into the main hall where event staff will be available to assist with directions, seating and accessibility support if required. There is a small carpeted foyer, but there is only one main hall to enter from this foyer.
Hazards
The main entrance includes 8 steps. The accessible bathroom door requires manual opening and closing. During busy periods, pedestrian traffic around entrances and corridors may cause congestion. Visitors using mobility aids should use the designated accessible entrance via the Avoca Street car park. The Town Hall has no climate control, and can be warm in summer, and cool in winter.
Toilet location
Bathrooms are located in the main hall area. There is one accessible RH stall, which is accessed via two push to open swing doors. Cubicles and stalls are also available behind two push to open swing doors. Scented air fresheners are used in these spaces.
Accessible parking
Two accessible parking spaces are available on Frances Street, adjacent to Randwick Town Hall. The wheelchair-accessible entry can be accessed from the Avoca Street car park, providing step-free entry into the venue. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early as accessible parking spaces are limited.
