Yap Club's Presentation Night! 27th Sept | Theme: My Roman Empire | Not-So Secret Society

🎤 Get ready for a night of chaotic slides, hot takes, and hilarious storytelling

At Yap Club, the girlies take the mic to present on scandalous topics, random obsessions, and unhinged deep dives you never knew you needed. Think PowerPoints, laughter, and a little friendly drama, the perfect mix for a Not-So night out.

✨ This month’s theme: My Roman Empire — the thing you can’t stop thinking about, that randomly takes over your brain, or that you obsessively bring up in conversation. From guilty pleasures to unhinged fascinations, nothing’s off-limits.

🤡 How it works:

• We’ll recruit 3–4 speakers from the girlies to share a hilarious story or hot take on a topic, chosen by you through our insta polls.

• Expect chaotic slides, unhinged deep dives, and scandalous storytelling that will have everyone laughing.

• Sit back, cheer on your friends, and maybe even get inspired to take the mic next time.

📅 Event Schedule

7:00 PM – Welcome & Icebreaker: Settle in, meet the group, and warm up with a quick icebreaker.

7:15 PM – Hear Me Out Club: Our 3–4 speakers take the stage to deliver their chaotic, hilarious, and maybe even scandalous presentations — topics chosen by you!

8:15 PM – Audience Vote & Open Mic: Cheer for your favourites, cast your vote, and if time allows, jump in with your own mini hot take.

8:45 PM – Wrap-Up & Mingling: Closing thoughts, laughs, and a chance to hang out with the girlies before heading home.

🚘 Parking Information
The closest parking to Not-So Secret Society HQ (Level 1, 245 Broadway, Ultimo) is at Broadway Sydney Car Park, 1 Bay St, Glebe.

Hours: 6am – Midnight

Entrances: Bay St, Francis St, or Grose St (best for North & South car parks - Max height is 1.95m – higher vehicles can use Bay St or nearby street parking)

Rates:
0–2 hrs: FREE (exit within 60 mins of validation)
2–3 hrs: $11 | 3–4 hrs: $22 | 4–5 hrs: $33
5–6 hrs: $44 | 6–7 hrs: $61 | 7+ hrs: $77
After 6pm, exit before midnight: FREE
