Hear That Lonesome Whistle is a Fundraiser/Awareness Raiser for Sisters Inside.

Franz James Band, FAM and Songs of Tom Smith are all generously donating their time and talents to the event. The venue has generously waived the venue hire fee and all profits from ticket sales will go to Sisters Inside. Tickets have been priced cheaply to make this event accessible for everybody. However feel free to make an extra donation when you buy your ticket here at Humanitix. We'll be giving out information on the night about the organisation and all it does for criminalised women girls transgender and non-binary people and their families.

'Criminalisation is usually the outcome of repeated and intergenerational experiences of violence, poverty, homelessness, child removal and unemployment, resulting in complex health issues and substance use. First Nations women and girls are massively over-represented in prison due to the racism at the foundation of systems of social control.
