Hearing Health for Live Music Workers
Event description
Working in live music is consistently loud – Workers need to be able to hear fine detail, engage deeply with music, but also ensure that their hearing is protected. What happens if it goes wrong? How can we ensure live music workers retain their hearing – not just for their work, but for their longterm lifestyle and love of music. Join a panel of experts to discuss all the issues and present some solutions.
Panel members include Ian Hamilton – Crew Member impacted by hearing loss, Angela Doolan – Support Act Crisis Relief Team Leader, Paul McCarthy – Safety Officer, Mo Helou – Audiologist (Hemisphere Medical Advisory Board). Facilitated by Tony Moran from Crewcare.
