Heart & Hands A 4 week creative journey
Description
Heart & Hands — A Journey Home Through Creativity
A 4-week creative journey into making, reflection, connection and intention.
As we move into spring, Heart & Hands invites you to slow down, reconnect and create space for what is ready to blossom.
Over four weeks, we’ll gather in a small group to create a unique wall hanging, beginning with a wet-felted base and then weaving in the techniques, textures and materials that speak to you. You might explore needle felting, embroidery, crochet, macramé, beading, woodwork and more. You don’t need to know what you want to create before you arrive — we’ll provide the materials, inspiration, skills and guidance, while leaving plenty of room for your own creativity to lead.
The intention is slowness. A chance to step away from the busyness of everyday life, work with your hands, and give yourself time to notice what is happening within.
Each session will include space for grounding, self-reflection and intention, with guided practices and prompts woven through the creative process. We’ll begin our first gathering with an opening ceremony, slowing down and tuning inward to explore what we want to bring into the world — both through our art and through the way we move through life.
As the weeks unfold, you’ll have time to let your piece develop organically, while sharing the experience with a small, closed community. We’ll also have a private WhatsApp group for reminders, check-ins and connection between sessions.
Our final gathering will close the journey with a ceremony of reflection — looking back at what has emerged over the four weeks and considering what we want to carry forward. You’ll leave with your handmade piece as a visual reminder of your reflections, intentions and what you’re choosing to bring into the world.
And there is no pressure to have it “finished” in four weeks. The aim is to create slowly and meaningfully; you’re welcome to continue developing your piece beyond the journey.
