Heart in the Radiance of Stars

Event description

Heart in the Radiance of Stars; The Etheric Heart as an Organ of Spiritual Perception

Many of us feel a genuine need to find innovative ways of being, cultivate courage and a deeper understanding of life. We feel an urgent need for change - but how do we create it? Is having courage enough?

Perceiving with the etheric heart could be described as directly evident spiritual discernment between true and false, an immediacy of knowing that expands beyond contradiction and supports us to hold multiple points of view, as we come into a relatedness to the world and to ourselves, and sense an interconnectedness of all life through the spiritual substance of warmth.

We work with interactive knowledge building through storytelling, creative and meditative exercises, movement and conversations.

Our aim: making the transformative capacity of the heart as an instrument for spiritual perception and heightened social consciousness accessible.

Presenters:

Gillian Rogers, Irmhild Kleinhenz, Iris Curteis

Threefold Social organism, social justice and community development.

Irmhild Kleinhenz is the Anthroposophic Mentor and Educator for Naturopathy and Anthroposophic Medicine-Post graduate IPMT, Integrative Medicine, and Anthroposophic medicine. ‘I will invite you to understand the healing impulses arising from the etheric heart. Using a creative movement exercise, I will lead you into a three-dimensional experience of the flow of the blood through the heart so that you can deepen your relationship to heart rhythms and better understand how to support social change.’

Iris Curteis is a storyteller and speech artist with 40 years of artistic experience. Her background includes studies in visual arts, speechformation & dramatic arts (Europe), BA & BA hon. 'I’ll use folktales, myth and storytelling to create an experience of ‘Heart Thinking’. Folktales, told in the right way, create immediate, imaginative spiritual perceptions. I’ll introduce you to the importance of ‘liminal space’ created through storytelling and the power it has to transform our perception of the growing social and ecological challenges through pictorial, creative thinking. Folktales and myth teach interconnectedness of life - the Wyrd - that can overcome the agonising disintegration of the world into intellectual fragments, transforming, healing and uplifting it through Etheric Heart perceptions.
