Are you ready to celebrate the International Day of Rural Women with the Rural Womenβs Network in Leeton?
We are coming to the Historic Hydro, Leeton on Wednesday 15 October, 4β7:30pm and bringing with us, the amazing country singer star, Melinda Schneider.
Melinda Schneider is a multi-award-winning singer-songwriter, live performer, storyteller, the CEO and founder of MPOWER Records, a sought after key note speaker and a female empowerment activist. Melinda has been a staple for 40 years in Australian entertainment, released a whopping 15 albums and been awarded an incredible six CMAA Golden Guitars.
In 2020 Melinda became an ambassador for the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program to help raise awareness and end the stigma around depression and will share her Be Gentle with Yourself program. Alongside Melindaβs powerful message, youβll be able to try a hands-on wellbeing workshop including journalling and weaving, enjoy refreshments and delicious food, visit the photo booth and create magic memories.
Join us as we gather to talk about wellbeing and the power of rural women, tap into your creativity and connect with other rural women. This is your chance to take a break, get your group together, meet new women from across the region, and celebrate being a rural woman. β¨
