    Event description

Join us for an exciting online event brought to you by HeartKids, designed especially for teenagers aged 13-17 and their siblings.

Get ready for a fun online event to meet other heart teens! If you are 13 – 17 and have congenital or a childhood-acquired heart condition, OR if your sibling does, this event is for you! There will be fun, games, prizes, tips and tricks and a whole pile of other young people just like you.

    What to expect:

    • Fun and games: Be part of games and challenges online with other heart teens to win great prizes
    • Heart information: Learn some important tips on your heart health and becoming more independent
    • Meet people: Meet other heart teens just like you!

      Joining and Participating:

      • You'll need a computer or smart device to connect to Zoom.
      • We'll do activities where we can see and talk to each other, so using a device with a camera and microphone will be helpful.
      • Our event team and HeartKids staff will be available to help with any tech issues. If you need extra help, feel free to have a parent, friend, or sibling join you!

Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to connect, learn, and grow together!

Mark your calendars for September 3rd and join us!

Make sure you follow HeartKids social media accounts and connect with YouthZone on Instagram to find out more information related to this event.

      Notes for parents:
This event is facilitated by HeartKids and MC’d and guided by professionals experienced in events and mentoring of young people. We are focussing on making this event highly accessible to all young people in our community.
