Heartbeat of Rural Australia Research Study - Sharing the findings with rural communities

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

In this online event, FRRR will share the findings of the Heartbeat of Rural Australia Research Study with community groups.

The research was designed to find out how NFPs and community groups in in rural communities are faring in the wake of the last two years, and importantly to find out what will help these groups to better respond and support their communities.

Join us for this session to hear the key findings from the Heartbeat report, and importantly, how you can access the and use the data to support your community's ambitions.

This study, commissioned through The Xfactor Collective Foundation and conducted independently by Survey Matters, confirms much of what we hear anecdotally. Volunteers are feeling overwhelmed and community groups are finding it tough to keep going and supporting their communities.

However, the research points to ways in which funders and policy-makers can better support communities. It also serves as a useful benchmark for community groups and, perhaps most importantly, we believe will be a tool to help community groups amplify their story and attract the support they need to continue to play the range of critical roles that this study confirms they play.

To launch this seminal study, FRRR will host a webinar where Natalie Egleton, CEO of FRRR and Kristi Mansfield, Co-Founder of SEER Data & Analytics will present the findings of the report, and talk about the power of placing this information in community hands and how you can access the data on the free SEER Data platform.

If you are a funder or policy-maker and are seeking to hear more about what the findings mean for working with communities please register for the sector focused webinar here.
