When Heather inherits the family business, she’s not taking over a café or a cleaning service, she’s becoming Death. Ready or not.

Armed with a cosmic AI named M.U.M and absolutely zero qualifications, Heather is thrown into the job of Grim Reaper. But death, as it turns out, is the easy part. It’s living; with grief, guilt, fractured family ties, and late-stage capitalism, that’s hard.

Heather is a bold, genre-bending original work that straddles the line between absurdity and emotional honesty. It’s a story about what happens when the world falls apart and you’re expected to keep showing up, at work, in love, and for the people who still need you.

As Heather stumbles through her first day as Death, she’s forced to confront broken relationships, cosmic indifference, and the impossible pressure to “have it together” in a world that’s unraveling in a universe that really cares very little for you.
