Hedy Blaazer: Video Ezy Tour [Syd]

Hedy Blaazer is a Sydney-based singer-songwriter and guitarist. Live, she forms a band with Marcella on the fiddle, Jo on Banjo, and Renee on Drums. Her lyrics are ‘honest’,‘emotional and raw’, her music ‘unique’ and ‘genre-bending’. Her voice has been described as ‘stunning’, ‘beautifully distinct’ and ‘simply sublime’. 

Since releasing her first bedroom recording in 2017, Hedy Blaazer has been busy. She opened for José González, played two east coast tours, and a handful of festivals including Dashville Sky Ball, Parramatta Lanes, and Marrickville Music Festival. Hedy’s track 'Elvis Impersonator' was named as a finalist in Happy Mag’s Needle in the Hay competition and her music video 'Fluorescent' was played on ABC Rage. Last year, Hedy released her single ‘Lying Flat’ which was played on over 70 radio stations worldwide, including airplay on Double J and FBI Radio. 

In celebration of her latest single “Video Ezy”, Hedy Blaazer and her band are taking their unique blend of poetic existential Australiana folk on the road this April to a city near you. 

Opening the night will be performances from Maia Marsh and Lee Sullivan & The Sleepers.

This show will take place on the unceeded land of the Gadigal people. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
