Heeding the Call: A One-Day Workshop for VM initiators on Outreach Teaching

Do you feel a pull to take your teaching to areas of greatest need? Do you feel the currents of a movement in which teachers from all over the world are bringing light into the darkest of dark places?  

Join Kristen Vandivier and Isabel Keoseyan of Meditation Without Borders in an online workshop where we will come together and explore what it takes to get Vedic Meditation to communities who need it most but are least likely to have access to it.

The workshop will be broken into modules including two special sessions on Teaching in Prisons with guest speaker Joh Jarvis of the Light Inside and Teaching Students with Alcohol Use Disorder with guest speaker Rachel Leamy of Sober & Alive. Some of the other subjects discussed will be methods for working with students with high levels of trauma, teaching in sensitive or challenging spaces, teaching with translation, how to work with students with addictions, teaching cancer patients and those with terminal diagnoses, and helping the helpers.
Isabel and Kristen will share what they’ve learned from their work in this space as well as will announce their vision for organizing the movement and providing support for other teachers who are interested in this kind of work.

We will have brainstorming sessions in which we will come together to share experiences and ideas for how to carry this movement forward together.  
Our aim is to spark a global movement, led by teachers, which brings Vedic Meditation to the areas of greatest need and uplifts the consciousness of the entire world. Join us for an exciting workshop of sharing knowledge and uniting under this common purpose.

Open to all teachers of Vedic Meditation and those who are approved for IT2025.
