The Women Drivers was born from Leanne's desire to commit to play more golf and find a cohort of like minded women who wanted to learn.
So she created one!
Having grown up in a family of male golfers, she has dabbled with golf since her 20's but we all know how life gets in the way with babies now teenagers and corporate life now her own business, she is committed to "making time" to do the things that fill her bucket.
"As women, we often find ourselves doing everything for everyone around us. Family, friends, work - part of this golf group is actually about giving some time back to yourself and doing that thing you always wanted to do but never had time to do - learn golf!" Leanne has said.
The concept of 2 hours once a month, consistently over the year, will see gradual improvement over time. For those wanting to dive right in there is the opportunity to attend ALL the clinics on offer, or just attend the ones that work for your life schedule.
As we grow, she hopes to provide more golf course options all over Melbourne to make it more accessible for those limited with travel.
