Help keep livable design standards in place in Queensland

We need your help to keep mandatory livable housing design standards in Queensland. Accessible housing is important for everyone.

The Queensland Productivity Commision’s (QPC) recommendation is to opt out of the National Construction Code’s (NCC) accessibility provisions and make voluntary the mandatory livable housing design standard in Queensland.

You are invited to get informed on the issue and actions required to ensure that Queensland homes are built to the current livable housing design standards for accessibility. QDN needs your help to influence Members of Parliament through personalised stories and coordinated advocacy. Have your say and protect accessibility standards for future housing developments.
