Help us plan our Tiny Forest!
Event description
Be a part of the global Tiny Forest movement and help us plan our new tiny forest for Epping. Our tiny forest will follow the Miyawaki Method of planting lots and lots of trees, shrubs and groundcovers very close together with compost and mulch. As the plants grow quickly and densely, local wildlife can find food and shelter. We think the Edgars Creek corridor will be a good place to create our Tiny Forest to help local native wildlife and for people to enjoy spending time in nature together. Join us at the Galada Centre to meet others who are keen to help plan what it will be like. If you’d like to learn more about tiny forests, follow the links below.
