Helping Hands for the Homeless
A meaningful, full-day school holiday program. Ages 8+ (year 3) or over
Looking for a holiday activity that’s fun, impactful, and unforgettable? Join us for a day where kids become Changemakers!
In this hands-on program, children will prepare nutritious meals and assemble essential care packs for individuals experiencing homelessness or financial hardship. Along the way, they’ll gain a deeper understanding of the issues facing vulnerable people and discover how small actions can make a big difference.
Each session is designed in partnership with local charities, ensuring that every child’s contribution directly supports real community needs. It's a day filled with purpose, learning, and heart - and one they’ll feel proud to be part of!
Program Details:
Time: 9:00am - 3:00pm
Cost: $100 per child
Location: 166 William St, Woolloomooloo, New South Wales
Ages: 8–14 years (Minimum age: 8)
What to Bring:
Nut-free morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
Water bottle
Closed-toe, rubber-soled shoes (No crocs, please - this is a cooking program and knives will be used)
Please Note:
This is a kids-only program - parents get the day off!
We do not use nuts or sesame in any recipes. However, please inform us of any allergies when booking.
