The Conference is designed to do more than share information.

In the afternoon, delegates will take part in facilitated roundtables to identify priorities and practical actions that will contribute to a Her Heart Roadmap for Women’s Cardiovascular Health.

This will be an opportunity to bring together clinical, research, policy, community and lived-experience perspectives to help identify the changes needed to improve how we prevent, recognise and manage cardiovascular disease in women.

Her Heart exists to improve the heart health of Australian women.

With almost one woman dying from cardiovascular disease every hour, heart disease remains a leading cause of illness and death among Australian women.

The impact is also significant across our health system, with cardiovascular disease costing the Australian health system around $14.3 billion each year.
