AIDN ACT Event with ASPI - HER Influence

While International Women’s Day is a powerful annual milestone that we all love, there is a growing need for more regular opportunities to connect, inspire, and empower the women working across Australia’s national security landscape. Join us in Canberra for HER Influence, a powerful mid-year forum, hosted by Australian Strategic Policy Institute’s – Women’s Defence & Security Network (WDSN), and the Australian Industry & Defence Network (AIDN).

This inspiring mid-year forum is designed to bring together women from across Australia’s defence, aerospace, and security sectors. It will be a day to connect, share, and celebrate leadership, while creating new opportunities for collaboration and growth.

In 2025, we will also proudly mark the 25th anniversary of the Women, Peace & Security (WPS) agenda, reaffirming the critical role women play in shaping secure, resilient, and inclusive societies. HER Influence provides the ideal platform to reflect on the achievements of the past 25 years and look ahead to the challenges and opportunities to come.

TIME: 4:30pm arrival for drinks and networking. 5pm-6pm formal event. 6pm-7pm networking. 7pm conclusion.

• Please use hand sanitiser before entering the event. There will also be plenty of hand sanitiser inside for your use and we encourage regular use of the hand sanitiser.
