Herdsman Lake Discovery Talk

Herdsman Lake is the largest wetland in the Perth metropolitan area, supporting a large diversity of wildlife. This beautiful wetland provides a sanctuary for many species of waterbird and is a place where people can enjoy nature on their doorstep.

The Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre is situated at the southern end of the lake and is managed by the WA Gould League. In this talk, former members talk about the beauty and importance of the lake and the history of the WA Gould League.

They will also have microscopes and specimens handy, so you too can experience some of great work of the Discovery Centre
