Bendigo Winegrowers Heritage & Hidden Spaces Wine Walk 2025

Join us for a day of wine tasting and exploration. Move between 9 Bendigo CBD locations, some hidden, some historic, and some only open only for this event.

Move at your own pace, from one venue to the next, discovering new wines, new tastes and the stories of the incredible buildings and spaces.

All venues are located within Central Bendigo and are easy to walk between.

Multiple. There are 9 venues to explore. Your starting venue is selected at the time of booking. Move on to other venues at your own pace, in any order. Be sure to pace your day accordingly to ensure you get to every venue.

1. VIP Tasting Session – Hosted by our Winemakers

Start your Heritage & Hidden Spaces experience with an exclusive, seated tasting hosted by a selection of Bendigo winemakers.

This year’s VIP tasting session theme, ‘Old & New’, celebrates the region's rare and ageing vintages, and premium new releases, plus a few surprise specialty pours unique to this session.

You'll explore a hand-picked line-up of premium, rare and museum-release wines not available anywhere else during the event, accompanied by a gourmet tasting box from Hoo-Gah, a much-loved local cafe.

VIP Tasting Session details:

  • An exclusive tasting of premium and rare Bendigo Wines, showcased with matching food samples.

  • Hosted by our Bendigo winemakers, guiding you through each wine on show

  • Access to purchase the wines presented during the session

  • Held in a private upstairs space at the Mining Exchange (The Beehive)

  • Session is held prior to the main event - commencing at 10am


2. Your unique VIP lanyard
You’ll receive a unique lanyard to identify you as a VIP guest, giving you access to extra premium tastings and exclusive offers from participating wineries throughout the event.


How to book

Step 1: Choose either a General Ticket or Food Upgrade Ticket.

Step 2: Choose your start venue.

  • General Tickets: Start from Bendigo Brewing, Bendigo Ernest Hotel, Black Swan Hotel, Gigi's Wine Bar & Deli, Mining Exchange (The Beehive) or Yi Yuan Chinese Garden (Golden Dragon Museum).

  • Food Tickets: Start from Babylon X The Woodhouse Collab, MacKenzie Quarters, The Dispensary or Wine Bank on View.

    • Food tickets include 4 pre-booked dishes. Your first dish will be served at your chosen starting venue, with the remaining 3 food venues listed on the back of your lanyard.

    • Please note that only Vegan/Vegetarian or gluten-free options will be catered for.

You will have time to get to all venues throughout the day. Make sure you plan your route and divide your time accordingly.

Step 3: VIP Upgrade: Elevate your experience with a VIP upgrade designed for passionate wine lovers, featuring exclusive perks and premium tastings. Tickets are limited. You’ll see the option to add the $50 VIP upgrade after selecting your ticket type and venue. Be sure to select your preferred tasting session time when booking.

*Upgrade needs to be added for each ticket holder, $50 per person.

Step 4: Register for our Wine Concierge Service to enjoy free grouped delivery on wine orders of 6 bottles or more. Registration information will appear for each ticket at the end of checkout. On the day you will receive a unique order number to present to participating wineries, who will ship your ordered wines from across the day for free the following week.

Step 5: Ensure you complete the ticket information fully and accurately.

Step 6: On the day, head to your starting venue to collect your event lanyard and Bendigo Wine tasting glass, and kick off your first tasting!

  • General ticket: $85 (All venues, tastings, and buy food as you go)

  • Food ticket: $139 (Includes 4 pre-booked dishes at select venues) 

  • VIP Upgrade add-on: $50 (limited spots!)

  • Early bird offer: $10 off each ticket

Please note:

  • Early Bird offer is limited

  • Food upgrade tickets are limited to 300 tickets for this event.

  • No changes will be made to tickets after purchasing

  • No refunds are allowed


Wine Concierge Service

To ensure a seamless experience and relieve you of the burden of carrying purchased wine bottles, we are offering a Wine Concierge Service. Register, and you'll receive free combined delivery on all orders of six bottles or more from participating wineries. Your order will be delivered after the event, allowing you to enjoy your day hassle-free while moving from venue to venue.

Each ticket holder can register, so be sure to coordinate with your friends before completing your booking. If you’d like to group your orders, first select yes and enter your address into Ticket 1 info, then select ‘Group delivery (use the delivery address supplied in ticket 1)’ for all other tickets.



Please note: Non-drinking tickets are not available for this event. However, some participating venues may remain open to the public during the day for general trade and visitation.
