Healthy Families, Healthy Relationships (HFHR) workshops

Sikh Interfaith Council of Victoria (SICV) in partnership with
Sikh Australian Support for Family Violence (SASFV) will be conducting a Healthy Families, Healthy Relationships (HFHR) workshop for all parents, grandparents, step-parents, carers, single men and women. Come learn and share your experience.
It will be held on May 15, 16 and 22 | 1-3 PM AEDT (Victoria time) over Zoom. It is a 3 session program and one ticket is for all 3 days.
The topics will be:
1. Building respectful relationships
2.Communications within the family
3. Parenting strategies
HFHR is focused on:
- Parenting strategies
- Respectful relationships within the family (marital, parent-child, grandparents)
- Positive communication
- Child and youth development theories
- Sharing of personal experiences
- Raising awareness of the realities of family violence and of primary prevention
