Event description

Hobart House Concert Collective presents two of Australia's finest singer songwriters, Naomi Keyte (SA) and our very own Ben Salter (TAS). Hosted at the vibrant Good Life Permaculture in South Hobart, come out for an evening of beautiful songs surrounded by lush vegetation.

Doors open at 5:30pm, music from 6pm.
This event is accessible by around 100m of steep steps. There is some chauffeuring available for people with mobility issues, please let us know. Address and more details will be emailed upon booking. Please note this event will be filmed.

'Eats with Abbie'
will also be cooking up delicious Malaysian street food. Please book in your main meal ahead with a ticket at checkout. Smaller snacks will also be available on the day. Abbie-Rose Foley is a chef based in Launceston with a passion for bringing community together through food.

Naomi Keyte uses the vehicle of contemporary folk music to explore multiple ways of connecting; connection to self, connection with others, and connection to personal and collective narratives. "Naomi is THAT lyricist, the one that puts you in such a specific time and place so effortlessly. She paints pictures of such detail that you can smell the salt air or feel the earthen floor. Can't wait to hear where she takes us next"- Tommy Faith, Triple J

Ben Salter is one of Australia’s most highly regarded performers and songwriters, with a penchant for eclectic, esoteric arrangements and sounds that take in elements of rock, pop, jazz, folk, country and beyond, whilst all maintaining a coherence and inimitable melodic style. “I firmly believe Ben Salter to be one of Australia’s best singers, and if I weren’t so goddamn competitive, one of its best songwriters as well.” – Tim Rogers (You Am I, The Temperance Union)
